FIRELOOK LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10.09.2026
At FireLook, protecting your privacy is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains how FireLook (“FireLook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use the FireLook mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using FireLook, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Process
FireLook does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or health information. Most of the information used by FireLook is stored locally on your device.
Information stored on your device
FireLook may store the following information locally:
- Photos you add to your Closet.
- Clothing names, categories, colors, types, style tags, and seasonal information.
- Style preferences and onboarding selections.
- Saved outfits and outfit compositions.
- Your avatar photo and selected body profile.
- Saved Virtual Try-On results.
- Basic application state, such as onboarding completion.
Structured information is stored in a local SQLite database. Images are stored as files in FireLook’s private application storage.
FireLook does not maintain an account-based cloud copy of your wardrobe, outfits, avatar, or saved try-on results.
Information processed by AI features
When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, FireLook sends only the information necessary to perform that request through FireLook’s backend.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
- An optimized clothing or outfit photo for wardrobe detection and classification.
- A clothing photo and its name, category, type, and color for image enhancement.
- An optimized avatar photo, selected body profile, outfit description, and relevant clothing reference images for Virtual Try-On.
These images may contain personal information, including your appearance or the appearance of another person if you upload their photo.
FireLook does not use facial recognition and does not create biometric identification profiles.
Outfit generation and supported background-removal operations are performed locally on your device and do not require your wardrobe images to be sent to an AI provider.
Subscription and usage information
If paid subscriptions are available, FireLook may process:
- App Store transaction identifiers.
- Subscription product and entitlement status.
- Subscription and renewal dates.
- AI usage totals and remaining usage allowances.
- A randomly generated pseudonymous identifier used for paywall configuration.
Payments are processed by Apple. FireLook does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Technical information
When your device communicates with FireLook’s backend, FireLook and its infrastructure providers may automatically receive limited technical information, including:
- IP address.
- Request date and time.
- HTTP headers.
- Response status.
- Randomly generated request identifiers.
- Error and diagnostic information.
This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. FireLook’s error logging is designed to exclude image payloads, access credentials, and provider API keys.
2. How We Use Information
We process information to:
- Provide the features you request.
- Store and display your wardrobe, outfits, avatar, preferences, and try-on results.
- Analyze clothing and detect wardrobe items.
- Generate enhanced clothing images and Virtual Try-On previews.
- Verify subscriptions and administer AI usage allowances.
- Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Diagnose technical problems and maintain reliability.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
FireLook does not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your local wardrobe or photos for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Where required by law, we process information based on performance of our agreement with you, your consent and choices, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, or compliance with legal obligations.
3. How Information Is Stored and Retained
Your local content remains on your device until you delete it through FireLook, clear the App’s data where that option is available, or uninstall the App.
Copies may remain in device or cloud backups managed by you, Apple, or another platform provider. Because FireLook does not maintain an account-based cloud wardrobe, we generally cannot access, recover, or remotely delete information stored only on your device.
FireLook’s backend is designed to process AI request images and generated results temporarily and does not intentionally save them in a FireLook database or permanent file store. Generated results are returned directly to your device.
However, hosting and AI providers may retain limited request information, content, or logs according to their own terms, security practices, retention controls, and legal obligations.
Subscription-linked usage records are retained only as necessary to verify access, enforce time-limited AI allowances, prevent abuse, and operate the Service. Short-lived FireLook access tokens and subscription identifiers may be stored in your device’s secure storage.
Apple retains purchase and subscription records according to its own policies and legal obligations.
4. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We share information only when necessary to provide, maintain, or protect the Service.
Depending on the features enabled, our service providers may include:
- OpenAI for wardrobe analysis, clothing classification, and item enhancement.
- Google Gemini, or OpenAI when configured, for Virtual Try-On generation.
- Vercel for backend hosting and request processing.
- Upstash for subscription-linked AI usage counters and rate limits.
- Superwall for paywall presentation, pseudonymous user identification, subscription status, and purchase-related events.
- Apple for App Store payments, subscription verification, device permissions, and platform services.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. They may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
We may also disclose information:
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To protect the rights, property, security, or safety of FireLook, our users, or others.
- To investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms & Conditions.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Permissions and Your Choices
FireLook may request access to your camera and photo library so you can take or select photos for your Closet and avatar.
You decide whether to grant these permissions and which photos to provide. Permissions can be changed at any time through your device settings.
FireLook does not require access to your microphone, contacts, or precise location.
Within FireLook, you may:
- Edit or delete Closet items.
- Replace or delete your avatar.
- Delete saved outfits and Virtual Try-On results.
- Change your style preferences.
- Remove the App to clear information stored in its application container.
Deleting FireLook does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information processed about you.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Request restriction of or object to certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of eligible information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.
Most FireLook information is stored only on your device and cannot be accessed by us. Our ability to fulfill requests concerning pseudonymous technical or subscription records may also be limited where we cannot reasonably verify that the records relate to you.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at firelook.app@gmail.com.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through FireLook.
These measures include private application storage, secure device storage for access credentials, encrypted network transmission, short-lived access tokens, request validation, server-side provider credentials, and limits on request size and frequency.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any backups containing FireLook data.
8. Children’s Privacy
FireLook is not directed to children under 18, and you must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not upload a child’s photo to FireLook.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through FireLook, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as FireLook and its features change.
The updated version will be published in the App or on the FireLook website with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how personal information is processed, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
10. Contact Us
